Tiebacks

Hillside Drilling Inc. has extensive experience in installing ground anchors for a number of applications. Tieback anchors and tiedown anchors consist of high tensile strength strands or bars placed either vertically or horizontally into drilled shafts. The strands or bars are grouted in place and stressed against a structural element such as a foundation or steel beam.

We have an extensive tieback/tiedown resume that includes projects with clients such as Caltrans and the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, and have tested anchors in excess of 450 kips. Our in-house engineer can design tiebacks to suit a number of applications, and our experienced crews are capable of safely delivering high production. We offer several pieces of equipment to contend with different jobsite constraints, and can modify equipment to reach even the most difficult locations.
