Lori Lamont
President and Co-Owner

Lori Lamont has a combination of legal and construction experiences spanning more than 28 years. From 1985 to 2007 Lori has been dedicated to building and co-managing Hillside Drilling Inc. with her father, Jay Lamont. In 2013 Lori became our company’s President and co-owner holding majority share-holder interest while also acquiring her A General Engineering contractor’s license.

Lori’s area of specialty and responsibility is thru the management of business operations including the legal, financial and insurance issues, contracts, safety, and human resources. Through the years Lori has worked at every level of the company from field supervision to daily business operations. Her experience has earned her a clear understanding of what it takes to be successful in the planning and execution of projects through the business-end of the operations. Lori understands that it takes a team of highly motivated and dedicated individuals with the highest level of integrity to succeed.

NICK LAMONT
GENERAL MANAGER

Nick is our 3rd generation Lamont and when your brought up in the family business, there’s no “start date” where in actuality you evolve from sometime in your adolescent years to know and understand this business and what responsibilities lie ahead for you. Nick sees first-hand the pride and workmanship in our 30+ year veterans with the company to our newest members who quickly become part of the HSD family. As a Navy Veteran, Nick has taken the skills he learned while serving under high stress situations as well as learning to lead a diverse group of men and women thru his role as General Manager. Nick is our Safety Officer as well as one of our certified structural welders. The family driven mindset resonates in all he does making him proud to help fulfill the needs of our Team by making sure our crews have all they needed to succeed in the field to get the job done safety and in a timely manner.

MATT CALLICOTTE

PROJECT MANAGER/ESTIMATOR

Matt has been with Hillside Drilling Inc. since 2019 and he has over 15 years experience in the San Francisco Bay Area construction industry. His main focus has been structural concrete, deep foundation systems and earth retention. Matt brings with him extensive knowledge and experience estimating and managing projects involving drilled shafts, micro-piles and earth retention systems. He is a graduate of California State University, Chico with a B.S. in Construction Management.
